Legendary Australian band Cold Chisel will be hitting the roads this December through to February next year with their 'Blood Moon Tour 2020'. The massive tour will see them performing special outdoor shows kicking off at Fremantle Park, going all the way to Busselton's Barnard Park, Adelaide's Glenelg Beach and Hunter Valley's Hope Estate Winery. The band will also be playing West Tamworth's Scully Park, Sydney's Bankwest Stadium, Wollongong's Stuart Park and Canberra's Commonwealth Park before heading to New Zealand for an exclusive show at Tauranga's Wharepai Domain.
Apart from these, the band will also be gracing wineries—Orange's Heifer Station Wines, Wahgunyah's All Saints Estate, Brisbane's Sirromet Winery, Yarra Valley's Rochford Wines and Geelong's Mt Duneed Estate—for A Day On the Green.
There's really nothing more Australian than hot sun, warm waves and Cold Chisel. The band's classic songs like 'Khe Sanh', 'Flame Trees', 'Bow River', 'My Baby', 'Cheap Wine', 'Saturday Night' and 'You Got Nothing I Want' have become the soundtrack to our summers. Since their legendary 'Last Stand' way back in 1983, Cold Chisel has reformed for just four national tours, but they almost always played indoors and those gigs didn't happen over the holidays.
For the 'Blood Moon Tour 2020', the band will be doing gigs on the beach, gigs by the river and gigs in the bush. What more, they are bringing their equally incredible peers for performances that will take long to forget. They include:
