Widely-acclaimed American rockers The Killers are set to hit our roads next year in support of the release of their fifth studio album 'Wonderful Wonderful'. They will be slaying the stage at Brisbane Entertainment Centre first before blowing the roofs off Qudos Bank Arena and Perth Arena. Melbourne's Hisense Arena will host three consecutive shows. The final show will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
It's been a while since the band released a studio album—the last being 'Battle Born' in 2012. And after five long years, they've finally dropped 'Wonderful Wonderful' last 22 September via Island Records. The album features tracks swelling with emotions and musicality like "Run for Cover", "Some Kind of Love" and "Wonderful Wonderful".
Sure enough, the release of the band's debut single "Mr. Brightside" in 2004 was a sign of their bright future in the music scene. The Killers went on to become one of the most successful rock bands of the 21st century, boasting a whopping 22 million record sales across the globe. They have also been bouncing from continent to continent, headlining festivals and wowing crowds of thousands with their live performances.
