Guns N' Roses – Not In This Lifetime Tour

Speculations have now come to an end!

History is about to happen as members of one of the world's best-selling bands of all time, Guns N' Roses, are confirmed to reunite for one of Australia's much-awaited rock tours. Founder Axl Rose and former members, Slash and Duff McKagan will be tearing up stadiums this February 2017 with their 'Not In This Lifetime' tour, marking their first time playing together for Australian fans since their famed 1993 'Use Your Illusion' tour.

Rolling Stone said: “This was the real thing, the thing we’d all been waiting for: the triumphant return of one of the most important bands to cross rock music history. And it happened in our lifetime”.

The reunion performances will see Axl, Slash and Duff give off electrifying numbers in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide. Perth will host the final show for the Australian leg of the tour.

Following the group’s 1985 formation, Guns N’ Roses injected limit-defying attitude into the burgeoning L.A. rock scene. Their unbridlled spirit went on to captivate the world with the release of their 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction–the best-selling U.S.debut in history, moving 30 million copies globally. In 1991, the seven-time platinum 'Use Your Illusion I' and 'Use Your Illusion II' sat at the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release.

The past decade saw Guns N’ Roses sell out shows and headline festivals worldwide following the critically acclaimed release of 2008’s RIAA platinum-certified Chinese Democracy. Six studio albums later, Guns N’ Roses are one of music history's most important and influential acts and they continue to set the touchstone for live performances connecting with millions of fans across the globe.

Guns N' Roses' unwavered popularity in Australia is well-shown by their unparalleled chart success since 1987. The band holds 14 ARIA Top 50 singles, alongside every one of their studio releases enjoying multi-platinum accreditation under their belt. The highlights include: Appetite For Destruction 8x Platinum, Use Your Illusion 1 4x Platinum, Use Your Illusion 2 5x Platinum. The dual release of Use Your Illusion in 1991 saw the band hold the #1 and #2 place on the ARIA chart. 1993’s The Spaghetti Incident? and Chinese Democracy debuted at ARIA #1 and #3 respectively and each achieved Platinum status. Guns N’ Roses Greatest Hits achieved 8x Platinum and spent 346 weeks in the ARIA chart.

Legendary Australian bands Wolfmother and Rose Tattoo will share the special guest spots on the tour. Rose Tattoo will appear on the Brisbane show and two Sydney shows while Wolfmother will join the ride on the second Sydney show, then will go all the way to Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Grab your tickets and witness history as it unfolds before your very eyes this February 2017.
